I am a professional health care worker from Johannesburg, South Africa and I believe that Love can Change the World.
Divine inspiration lead me to Rietvlei Farm and from there to the development of the Star Garden Labyrinth. The whole experience took me completely out of my comfort zone but taught me that great excitement and passion enter my life if I follow the divine voice within.
Initially I had a vision to show me exactly where I had to be but from then on I only got key words to show the way. Most of the time I had to research what it meant and to see how it would fit into the vision but there were times when I had to follow the "inner knowing" without really understanding.

This experience put me on a path to the study of Sacred Geometry which offered me a golden key to a better understanding of the mysteries of the universe. Sacred Geometry is an ancient science and a sacred language, also called the "language of Light."
It is the language of creation, which exists as the foundation of all matter and it is a vehicle of spirit. It has been called the "blueprint for all creation," the "harmonic configuration of the soul" and the "divine rhythm which results in manifest existence."
From microcosm to macrocosm, from the first cell to the incomprehensible depths of the universe, patterns gather and repeat in confirmation of our connectedness. When we recognize these geometric archetypes and their relationship to the underlying structure of the universe, we see clearly that there is no separation.
Sacred Geometry has the ability to balance human energy fields and contains a complex informational system that can be used to access healing and growth in many dimensions. Practitioners in various fields of healing and communication are using this matrix of information to explore and better understand our place in the cosmos. (Quote Francene Hart.)
The design of the Star Garden is based on the geometry called "Metatron's Cube" The circles represent female energy and the straight lines male energy. The geometry shows how balanced interaction between the two can create something entirely new. It also shows how community is formed through substantive action. The community can be a group of cells that eventually make up the human form, a relationship between a couple or a family, a community sharing a school or church, a community living in a city, a province, a country, a continent, a planet, a galaxy or eventually the entire universe.
The design is symbolic of how substantive action between male and female energies will create the Heaven that we so long for on Earth. The Star Garden will create a sacred space for us on Earth to reflect, heal, balance and interact so that all our new creations will become heavenly.

The design of the Star Garden by Winks Girdwood

Winks says: "The Star Garden design was developed over three years." The body of the garden is made up of thirteen star symbols which I was prompted to relay to paper by my guide, an ancient being whose name is Bendai. Each symbol is a galaxy within its universe. Each galaxy has a people which, in time, came to planet earth to create the peoples of this earth as we know it today in all their diversities. A few words are attached to each symbol to point one in the direction of the necessary area of healing.
Designing these symbols into a garden I was drawn to the sacred geometry of the Fruit of Life. Drunvalo Melchizedek describes this as "one of the holiest and most sacred forms in existence". Added to these 13 symbols are three more to bring in the male, female and relationship aspects.

The lines of the square, triangle, six pointed star and hexagonal will be laid out as pathways joining all the circles creating a unique labyrinth. Unlike one pathway in and one out this design permits a person a choice of directions. Simply by standing within the circle of choice will begin a process of healing for the individual. A persons inner knowing will always set them on the needed path and within the needed circle.
As you step into the Universes of this garden close the fear from your minds. Open your hearts, feel the purity, feel the peace, feel the love, feel the joy, be the gratitude and permit the light of who you are to join with that of the stars as the beams radiate across our land and the globe bringing peace to our ‘rainbow nation' and the peoples of our planet earth."
