Each of us carries our sacred space within us and it is vital to stay within this space even when the journey of life becomes challenging and our earth walk becomes a very rocky road. Here we make life choices that create what we experience. This is the space from which flows our love for others. This sacred space is within us where ever we go and we can access that space at any time to sanctify and to find the core of the true inner self.
We can exist physically on Earth without ever consciously perceiving the energy fields we walk through, that surround us, and that we create. We create the space we live in, just like we create our lives. When we consciously create the space within and surrounding ourselves, we tap into the power of creating sacredness. This is sacred space.
The word "sacred," evokes a feeling of something holy, serene, worthy of reverence. Any space can be a sacred space so, prepare yourself as you stand on Holy ground! We are Love and Love is the Light within that guides our way.
There are common elements that seem to comprise Sacred Space. Imagination is important. It is a direct connection to your creativity, and it is entirely possible that it is the preferred method that Spirit uses to communicate with you. Be passionate! You need to feel strongly about exactly what you intend to create. It has to mean something to you.
Creating sacred space comes from understanding some simple, yet powerful tools: intent, centering, grounding, clearing, and creating a geometrical boundary of energy.
Intent: Thoughts are things. Every thought you have, entertained and create is a force of moving energy-resonance. Everything in the universe resonates with energy, even the densest and coldest materials- diamonds and ice. When you resonate with certain thought or emotion, you are in the act of drawing that resonance to you and thus creating the events that come into your life. If you want to change your life and/or change the space around you, change your intent, change your resonance.
"We are spiritual beings on a path of loving service and if we pay more attention to the sacred wisdom within we will be lead to a place of peace and joy where Love is All there is."
Centering: We scatter ourselves to the winds with our busy lives and forget that we are ineffective when we are fragmented. How can you accomplish anything and/or focus if your heart is in one place, your mind in another, and the rest of you scattered around the world? Come home to yourself.
Grounding: We are spiritual, energetic creatures living in a physical body, and our environment surrounding us reflects that. So, when we ground, we are grounding in both the spiritual, energetic realm, as well as the terrestrial, physical plane.
"We are more than just physical beings, we are whispers of love dancing in the breeze."
Clearing: Since the universe is filled with complex, multi-dimensional, diverse resonances, we are always living in this resonance soup. A lot of resonances are simply garbage, mucking up the clarity. Depending on the mood you are in during the day, you may be attracting more garbage energy than you realize. Clearing will elevate your immediate surrounding space so that you can feel and think more clearly-allowing through the more beautiful and meaningful resonances to shine.
Everything is energy. Energy is consciousness. Therefore everything, including what appears to the common human senses to be mere empty space, is alive. What you create is alive. Energy can be transformed from one form into another. Positive thoughts and a positive attitude transmute negativity in and around you. You are not alone in this world. Other people have an effect on the space and have exactly the same capacity to create as you do. Stay centered in your sacred space and do not allow worries and problems to diminish the vibration of your space. Be love in action but do not take on the burdens that others carry. Use intent and imagination to lovingly help another to hand burdens over to God see how they are absorbed and transmuted by the earth.
When you use intent for clearing you are using yourself as a tool. In clearing with yourself, understand that you have two energy bodies-your physical body and your energy body. These two bodies are infused and interlaced through one another, affecting one another. All energies you carry in your energy body will eventually manifest themselves through your physical body. So, when you clear with intent, understand you are clearing your own energetic field, as well as the field around you.
The Space: After using all of the previous steps, by now you should begin to be able to feel higher vibrating energy in the space that surrounds you. As you practice these steps, it will become more defined and clearer to you. With the vibration of this space more defined around you, it will be easier to picture yourself inside its boundaries. Picture yourself in a diamond of white light, seal your space with white light. Allow only energies through that serve the Highest Good for all of God's Creation. Remember that the shape of a diamond is formed when two pyramids are joined at the base. The top pyramid is filled with ever flowing light and power from the cosmos and the bottom pyramid is filled with ever flowing light and power from the earth, joined at the level of the heart.
"There is a light that shines beyond all things on earth,
beyond the highest, the very highest heavens.
This is the light that shines in your heart."
Allow yourself sacred time- a moment of no pressure, no rules, no obligations, a time to yourself, to discover something rare and beautiful. Listen to your Inner self, this takes time, but eventually, you will feel connected to your Divine self and be more aware. Take a moment to reflect on your life, on what makes you happy. What inspires you? Give yourself a pat on the back for all your achievements. Do not forget to give thanks to your God for all the blessings in your life. Make time allow yourself this luxury of a time to yourself.
"In peace, you become the Beloved and see the Beloved in each being.
In peace, you are love
Love and Peace"
Sacred time is flexible. It may be a walk down the street or in the woods or down the country road, a brief moment in a quiet corner of the garden or as you take your first sip of coffee in the morning. These are simple activities that add up to precious time with you. As you allow yourself this sacred time, you will gradually feel calmness, peace and happiness. Think of it as a time to rejuvenate sagging energy and a time to calm down, a time to relieve stress and time to get centered and focused. You will end up offering those around you a more relaxed and calmer person, even insightful, ready to look at things from a different perspective, a more positive one.
"When you begin to touch
your heart or let your heart be touched,
you begin to discover that it's bottomless,
that it doesn't have any resolution,
that this heart is huge, vast, and limitless.
You begin to discover how much warmth and gentleness is there,
as well as how much space."
When your diamond shaped sacred space is anchored in the cosmos, in the earth and in your own heart and when Love and Gratitude for all of God's creation is your prime motivation, you will walk the earth leaving everlasting footprints of Light that will illuminate the way for others. All of God's creation will react to your presence by bringing equal offerings of Love and Gratitude so that you will forever be surrounded by miracles that will surpass your wildest dreams.
